Currently, I own and operate a coffee shop that is engrained in the community as a dog-friendly place, as well as a place where those with disabilities can gain job and life skills. I work with various local agencies to identify individuals that need training and skills. I also perform all business functions including but not limited to m

Currently, I own and operate a coffee shop that is engrained in the community as a dog-friendly place, as well as a place where those with disabilities can gain job and life skills. I work with various local agencies to identify individuals that need training and skills. I also perform all business functions including but not limited to management, finance, accounting, human resources, marketing, and information systems.

I graduated from college having double-majored in both accounting and information systems. I have also obtained an MBA and an MSIS. I successfully led a team as a Director of Technology for more than 14 years at the University of Cincinnati. I, then, went to work for Microsoft for a couple of years. Since moving to LA, I have been working in Human Resources for the past several years, as well as, building my own business. I have recently obtained my SHRM-CP certification as well. I also spend a good deal of time volunteering with my favorite charity, The Sunshine Kids Foundation.

I play a critical role in building and sustaining positive employee engagement through effective and efficient resolution of employee concerns, positive corporate culture, and other day to day people-related activities. A proven, dependable leader of teams, including the recruiting and hiring, onboarding, management, performance review, training, and terminations of related to them. My strategic planning skills enable our team members to work towards common goals while still furthering their careers individually. I also have experience with budgeting, developing financial models, and forecasting based on historical data.
